We have an exciting opportunity for a Watch and Jewellery sales professional with a luxury jewellers in Edinburgh.
Driving Sales and Exceptional Customer Experience
Achieve individual sales and KPI targets through delivering exceptional service to customers
Deliver in store services with confidence (eg: engraving, servicing and aftercare)
Be a part of the high performing showroom team delivering outstanding experiences to customers whilst ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the showroom.
Create and maximise sales opportunities with all customers through efficient relationship management and creating a personal luxury experience fitting to company standard.
Positively contribute to the brand, being a brand ambassador at all times.
Demonstrate passion, personality, and confidence in selling jewellery and silverware, alongside prestigious watch brands. Accurately process sales transactions for customer purchases in line with company procedures.
Continually develop in-depth, specialist product knowledge and provide customers with the most up to date information on products or services we offer.
Attend training courses and continually develop in-depth product knowledge. Completion of key brands or partners accreditation courses is mandatory.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Supporting the Team
Follow guidelines and instruction to efficiently deal with all tasks in a fast paced environment
Care and take responsibility for our stock items and ensure items for sale are clearly ticketed with the correct details and either rectify or report any anomalies to the Assistant Showroom Manager and the Stock Team
Keep the showroom and any staff areas clean, tidy, and replenished
Adopt a supportive approach to colleagues across all departments
Delivering Efficiency
Support the management team to deliver operational tasks (e.g.: stock takes, visual merchandising, stock deliveries, events)
Take responsibility for a safe working environment ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Communicate and work effectively alongside the entire Hamilton & Inches team.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have previous jewellery retail experience or minimum 3 years relevant customer related experience
- Ideally studied GIA certified courses and have minimum JET1 qualification
- A customer first attitude and a desire to drive sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer expectations are achieved
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive and able to work to direction
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Must have authorisation to work in the United Kingdom
