Position Purpose
This role is for a Sales Consultant within a prestigious luxury watch and jewellery house. The position requires a strong drive to achieve sales and deliver exceptional customer service at all times. You will be expected to build and nurture a loyal client base, while also developing excellent internal and external relationships. As a brand ambassador, you will represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism.
Overview of Role
- Develop in-depth product knowledge (with internal training) and use this expertise to foster long-term customer relationships.
- Grow the client base by delivering outstanding service and utilising strong watch and jewellery knowledge to maximise sales opportunities across all retail channels.
- Support the boutique’s performance by consistently providing a superior client experience.
Main Responsibilities
Sales & Service
- Deliver the highest standards of customer service both in-store and across remote channels (telephone, email, WhatsApp).
- Build, maintain, and proactively grow a personal client book and database.
- Ensure every opportunity to meet client needs is explored within set parameters.
- Act on coaching and feedback from the Boutique Manager.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and use it effectively to support client purchases.
- Contribute to boutique targets by achieving individual KPIs.
- Uphold excellent personal presentation, grooming, and adherence to dress code standards.
- Adapt service style to meet the expectations of different clients and situations.
Operations
- Follow company systems and POS procedures to ensure smooth transactions and full compliance.
- Participate in team briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
- Keep up to date with internal communications and developments within the business.
- Ensure the boutique is always presented to brand standards and kept immaculate.
- Process all sales transactions in line with company procedures and regulations.
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accuracy within stock management systems.
- Support high standards of product presentation and merchandising in line with company policy.
- Follow procedures to minimise stock loss and safeguard company assets.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sales Consultant (or similar) within the luxury retail industry.
- Fluency in French and English (additional languages an advantage).
- Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of sales techniques and luxury customer service principles.
