Role Summary
This role is responsible for refinishing and Oyster production work and provision of technical support on a day-to-day basis, to achieve department and company objectives. Capable use of specialised tools and machinery to polish, assemble, clean and waterproof watch cases and bracelets, along with an ability to change focus in response to demand is required.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Technical Focus
Refinishes watch cases and bracelets to their original appearance using polishing machinery in accordance with Rolex standards.
Cleans and assembles cases after refinishing, maintaining a high quality of work.
Carries out waterproof testing after case assembly and as part of the Final QC process.
Performs all technical operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure.
Works in a logical, organised manner with the ability to start and stop jobs as needed.
Maintains the polishing and cleaning room environments to the department standard.
Uses computer systems to log workflow, track production and to maintain and order consumable and high value parts.
Assists Quick Service with technical queries and provides support for partial repairs during busy periods.

Follows all relevant health and safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and machinery
Performs any other duties as requested which are deemed reasonable and within capability.

Essential
Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent)
Experienced in carrying out skilled watchmaking processes in a workshop environment
Experience of working to strict Standard Operating Procedures
A good level of dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination gained in a similar role
An interest in watches
Excellent attention to detail
