Description

We have a vacancy for a Production Specialist with an ELITE jewellery company based in London.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the end-to-end production of products from design approval to final delivery.
  • Manage and control the critical path of new samples including technical details, model feedback, costings and deadline management. You will need to ensure that products meet our high-quality standards and follow the brand guideline.
  • Work with our workshops to develop high quality products, give recommendations regarding technical details (stone setting, hinge/claps…) while optimising costs and ensure production schedules are met.
  • Conduct quality checks at various stages of the product development process to ensure excellence and consistency between products.
  • Partner with the quality control team and propose product improvements and resolve production issues.
  • Manage the technical sheets and ensure all the details are collected (dimensions, setting, size of the chain…)
  • Update product design database and maintain jewellery wax model archive
  • Collect the technical files of any new designs in order to register the designs
  • Manage jewellery special orders: quotations, deadline, special orders
  • Build strong relationships with our workshops

Profile:

  • Min 5 years of experience in production or product development within the jewellery industry.
  • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing techniques, materials and craftsmanship and technical curiosity.
  • Strict attention to detail and methodical approach.
  • Ability to manage project efficiently from project to delivery.
  • Problem solving mindset.
  • Organisational and strong communication skills.
  • Dynamic, agile and proactive work ethic.
  • Proactive and problem solver.
  • Drive for results, focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
