Jewellery Sales

A luxury fine jeweller based in Somerset is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-driven Sales Consultant to join their close-knit team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a refined retail environment offering exquisite jewellery and an exceptional level of client care.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience

• Greet clients warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service at all times
• Manage client appointments and follow up on enquiries, special orders and collections
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through trust and expert guidance
• Maintain a welcoming and polished store environment, ensuring every client feels valued

Sales and Performance

• Confidently discuss product ranges, bespoke services, and aftercare options
• Work towards personal and team sales targets and KPIs
• Promote additional services such as valuations, cleaning, and gifting solutions
• Ensure all paperwork relating to sales, commissions and overtime is completed accurately

Store Operations

• Assist with daily store tasks including stock presentation, packaging and merchandising
• Follow security and operational procedures including opening/closing and buzzer systems
• Help coordinate cover for breaks and team scheduling
• Participate in seasonal re-displays and in-store events

Repairs and Commissions

• Advise customers on repairs, timelines and care recommendations
• Use in-store tools to quote and record jobs accurately
• Support with bespoke jewellery designs and commissions
• Ensure all order forms and communications are accurate and complete

Wedding & Special Orders

• Guide customers through wedding ring options and additional purchases
• Offer complimentary services ahead of big events (e.g. ring cleaning before weddings)
• Follow up on custom orders and ensure timely communication with clients
