An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Jewellery Mounter to join a well-established and highly regarded jewellery workshop based in London.
This role is ideally suited to a skilled bench professional with strong technical ability and a genuine passion for fine jewellery craftsmanship. You will be working on high-quality pieces, including bespoke and high-end production work, within a supportive and professional workshop environment.
The Role
As a Jewellery Mounter, you will be responsible for:
- Mounting fine jewellery pieces to a high standard of precision and finish
- Preparing and assembling components prior to stone setting
- Claw, rub-over and micro-setting preparation work
- Resizing rings and carrying out minor workshop repairs
- Ensuring all pieces are finished and polished to workshop standards
- Working closely with setters, polishers and designers
- Maintaining high levels of quality control and attention to detail
About You
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Have proven experience as a Jewellery Mounter within a professional workshop
- Be confident working in gold and platinum
- Have strong soldering, assembly and finishing skills
- Possess excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Be comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining quality
- Ideally have experience working on fine or high-end jewellery
