- General Purpose of the Position:
The Merchandising team is responsible for the assortment and management of all product in the retail network. They work to ensure that stores are supported with the right merchandise at the right time while maintaining the integrity of brand image. The team is focused on maximising stock, sales and sell-thru.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Merchandising Partners to execute stock allocations and replenishment strategies.
Monitor inventory levels regularly and take proactive rebalancing actions to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Utilise sales data and historical performance to make data-driven allocation decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the development and maintenance of allocation strategies, including initial allocations and size distributions
Provide the daily support to stores, including handling requests, coordinating deliveries, and managing stock inquiries to optimise sales potential
Coordinate regional shipments by liaising with the Shipping and Sales Liaison Departments.
Assisting Merchandising implementing regional Pricing updates
Organise and maintain product passports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
Prepare presentations for business review and mapping
Handle ad hoc tasks and assignments as required
Skills and Ability:
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred
Previous experience in the jewellery or luxury industry is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point; experience with PowerBI is a plus
Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and excellent numerical sense
Highly driven, self-motivated & curious
Effective communication skill and a good team player
