- Description
- We are looking for a skilled Fine Jewellery CAD Designer for a prestigious jewellery company based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and realistic 3D designs that can be used in the production of exquisite fine jewellery pieces. The Jewellery CAD Designer will collaborate closely with design and production to ensure the seamless transition from concept to the final product.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Modelling:
Create detailed and accurate 3D models of jewellery designs using CAD software, considering factors such as scale, proportion, and technical feasibility.
Design Interpretation: Work closely with the design team to interpret their creative concepts and translate them into viable CAD models.
Prototyping:
Generate prototypes and samples for design testing and evaluation, ensuring that the CAD models align with the intended design specifications.
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on the latest CAD software and jewellery design technologies to enhance and streamline the design process.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with the production team to address any technical challenges and provide support in the transition from digital designs to physical prototypes.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough reviews of CAD models to ensure accuracy, adherence to design specifications, and compatibility with manufacturing processes.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including designers, production staff, and management, to ensure a smooth workflow and successful execution of designs.
Criteria:-
Previous Jewellery CAD experience essential
Experienced in jewellery software Matrix and Rhino
Experience of working with fine jewellery (preferred)
