Description
We have a great vacancy for a Watch Polisher with LVMH in Manchester UK.

Mission:           
 
  • To carry out polishing & refurbishment to the highest standards and to meet customer requirements
  • Add value to the core business and to achieve repeat custom
  • Support the development of the UK aftersales business
  •  
Duties and Responsibilities:   
 
  • Polishing / refurbishment of watch cases and bracelets to all brands
  • To achieve agreed targets within an agreed timeline
  • Ensure high maintenance of all machinery, tooling & mops 
  • Correct use of all machinery in accordance to health & safety regulations
  • Produce high quality work
  • Provide advice & information to managers as required
  • Promote quality achievement & performance improvement 
  • Keep up to date with new products & training
  • Support training of colleagues and the development of the department and processes
 
Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:
 
Education:
  • GCSE level qualification
 
Professional Experience: 
  • Bench experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a similar industry or with similar sized components (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a team or meeting targets
  • Experience in polishing all metals
  • Previous experience of working with various Mops 
 
Profile:
  • Commercial awareness and common sense/pragmatic approach
  • Passion for watches/luxury timepieces 
  • Be a brand ambassador of the business
  • Appreciation of luxury brand values
  • Ambitious with a willingness to learn and complete development training 
  • Close attention to detail
  • Drive for results
  • Able to prioritise and plan own workload
