- We have a vacancy for a Merchandising Manager with prestigious luxury jewellers in London.
This role would be perfect for a Merchandiser from a luxury or jewellery background looking to take their first steps into management.
Overview:
The Sales Liaison team provides outstanding support to the sales teams in the company stores worldwide, including daily product inquiries of stock availability, development of special order quotes and VIP orders, weekly stock allocation selection and shipment, proactive management of stock replenishment, stock support for events and store openings, and store remerchandising projects. The manager will have exceptional attention to detail, be a great communicator and continually build strong and trustworthy relationships with colleagues across a variety of departments within the organisation.
Reporting to: Head of Operations
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Oversee response to daily client queries and stock availability requests globally in optimal and timely fashion across the breadth of Jewellery categories
Liaise with Merchandise Planning, Production and Shipping departments to fill needs for daily client queries and overall store/regional assortment opportunities
Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising and allocation schedule for Special Exhibitions, new store openings and relocations
Create monthly sales reports identifying regional trends and opportunities; work on adhoc sales analysis
Periodically oversee store display and remerchandising projects
Work with PR and Marketing team on photoshoots and event planning schedule
Work closely with the Production and Logistics teams on timely and efficient special orders execution, including quote calculation and delivery schedule
Follow up on stock proposals to monitor the outcome and conversion rates of client requests
Communicate with Salon Directors and sales executives to gain market knowledge and product feedback
Skills and Experience:
Merchandising experience within a luxury vertical retailer; jewellery experience is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
A strong understanding of the customer’s needs and the ability to identify product that will appeal to customer and exceed their expectations
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and propose actions
Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, forward thinking individual comfortable in a dynamic fast-moving environment
Computer literacy: must be proficient on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
This is a Head Office role working Monday to Friday in Mayfair.
