- An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Store Manager to lead a prestigious, independent retailer of fine jewellery and luxury watches, based in Gloucestershire. This jewellery business is renowned for its dedication to excellence, curated product selection, and outstanding customer service. - You’ll be heading a close-knit, high-performing team in a beautifully appointed boutique, where traditional values meet contemporary luxury. - We’re seeking a dynamic and commercially astute leader with a background in luxury retail—ideally within the jewellery or watch sectors. You’ll take ownership of daily operations, inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, and play a key role in business performance and client engagement. - Key responsibilities include: - Store operations: - Ensure the smooth, compliant, and efficient running of day-to-day store operations
- Maintain impeccable store presentation aligned with the luxury brand identity
- Act as the main point of contact for selected brand partners
- Oversee product ordering and manage supplier relationships
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
 - Sales and customer experience: - Motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Build long-term customer relationships through expert, personalised service
- Lead by example in delivering an exceptional in-store experience
- Support merchandising, supplier meetings, and VIP events
- Continuously identify ways to elevate the customer journey
 - Team leadership: - Foster a collaborative, values-driven team culture
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development
- Liaise with internal trainers to support learning and development initiatives
 - Stock and inventory: - Oversee stock control, ordering, and visual merchandising
- Collaborate with brand representatives to ensure optimal product availability
- Maintain accurate records and adherence to inventory protocols
 - Business and finance: - Monitor store performance and identify commercial growth opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Assist with scheduling, payroll coordination, and in-store event planning
 - Marketing and promotions: - Plan and deliver seasonal promotions, launches, and client engagement events
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure campaign alignment
- Adapt local marketing strategies based on customer insights
