We have a live vacancy for a Final QC Technician with Rolex watches at their service centre in Kings Hill, Kent.

Job Summary
This is a role where focus on the customer is paramount.  Final operations in timing control, waterproofing and all quality-related checks are conducted in Final QC.  Working to the highest standards and to strict working methods and standard operating procedures, primary responsibility will include the identification of any related issues and accurate recording of all data, to ensure the provision of outstanding customer service.  There is scope for progression within a defined development framework and full training will be provided to applicants who possess the required personal attributes outlined in the candidate profile.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Technical Focus
Conducts specification assessment of the watch and working order, including checking that work completed is correct and in accordance with customer request
Visually inspects completed and serviced watches, setting them to time, checking daily tolerances, performing self-winding tests using specialist Rolex equipment and completing the timing analysis procedure
Secures case backs in accordance with watching specifications and standard operating procedures
Performs model-specific final waterproofing tests using Rolex specialist equipment
Maintains and records all final timing sheets, flagging watches outside of tolerance in preparation for Watchmaker re-work
Carries out bracelet repairs and adjustments, including reattachment of bracelet to watch head
Contributes to efficient workflow via maintenance of daily production targets and quality goals set within personal performance objectives 
Focuses on achieving high standards of excellence via a ‘right first time’ approach in all areas of work
Maintains high standards of workstation organisation and tidiness
Follows and adheres to all standard operating procedures
Works to required procedures to ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to when operating machinery
Carries out tasks within the department as requested by the Manager which are reasonable and commensurate with skills and capability
Team Focus
Liaises with Final Quality Control Supervisor and other service departments regarding relevant job-specific items.
Focuses on continuous personal and professional development
Demonstrates willingness to improve through constructive communication and training
Builds and maintains positive relationships and communication with colleagues

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential


Educated to a minimum of Secondary school level
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of concentration and focus
A good level of dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination
Good written and oral communication skills 

Desirable

Grade C or above at GCSE Level in Art or Craft Design & Technology
Previous experience working as part of a small team
An interest in watches
