Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join a luxury jewellers in the Somerset area of the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-end retail environment, supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and ensuring an unforgettable client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales Excellence

  • Deliver a world-class luxury shopping experience, providing expert advice and guidance on fine jewellery and watches.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring personalised service and repeat business.
  • Support the team in achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Leadership & Team Development

  • Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring the sales team to uphold the highest standards of service and product knowledge.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating staff to excel in a high-performance, client-focused environment.
  • Step in as the acting Store Manager in their absence, overseeing daily operations and ensuring business continuity.

Store Operations & Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain impeccable store presentation, ensuring luxury visual merchandising standards are upheld.
  • Assist in stock management, including inventory control, audits, and ensuring product availability.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

About You

✔ Proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within fine jewellery or high-end watches.
✔ A natural leader with the ability to coach, inspire, and drive a high-performing sales team.
✔ Passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience, with a deep understanding of luxury service standards.
✔ Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
✔ Well-presented, professional, and committed to representing a prestigious luxury brand.

The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm (40 hrs a week). Closed Bank Holidays.

21 days holiday, plus all bank holidays.
