- We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Professional to join a dynamic jewellery team of a luxury jewellers based in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This position involves providing personalised service to customers, showcasing exquisite jewellery, and driving sales to contribute to the overall success of our jewellery department. The ideal candidate would also be able to assist with the Social Media of the company.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers with a friendly and approachable style.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and attentive service.
Guide customers through the selection process, offering expert advice on jewellery styles, materials, and designs.
Product Knowledge:
Possess in-depth knowledge of our jewellery collection, including gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship details.
Stay updated on industry trends and be able to educate customers on the latest jewellery designs and fashion.
Sales and Targets:
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by actively promoting and selling our jewellery products.
Utilise effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products, maximising each customer interaction.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of inventory to assist customers in finding the perfect piece.
Merchandising and Display:
Contribute to the visual appeal of the jewellery department by assisting in merchandising and maintaining attractive displays.
Ensure that all jewellery is presented in a well-organised and appealing manner to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Customer Service:
Handle customer inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
Social Media:
Have an understanding of various social media platforms and be able to assist in the day to day running of the social media business.
Criteria:
Proven experience in jewellery sales or a related retail environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewellery design trends.
Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
