- Description
- Under the supervision of the Senior Quality and Production Manager, you will be responsible to support the overall business regarding stock and administrative functions. In this role, you will interact with different teams including Merchandising, Sales Liaison and the Shipping departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management- Safes: Inventory and organisation
- Responsible to coordinate stock control operations
- Monitoring stock movements: preparation and allocation (stores, meeting, exhibitions)
Stock control:- Planner & organiser of stock inventory & investigation if needed
- Track if stock in transit has been received
- Alerting management when high level of stock for actions
- Keep inventory records
- SAP: Responsible that the physical stock is aligned with the stock informatically
Processes and procedure:- Challenge and improve processes when necessary
- Implement new processes - lead and coordinate with the different teams
Manage the Blue admin of the products- Check that the information is correct on all cards (product, pricing, image…)
- Review the quality of the images
- Print and allocate the cards according to the stock movements
- Responsible to ensure that a card is always attached to a piece before shipping
GIA certificates:- Follow-up sales: send GIA certificates to the markets on a daily basis
- Assist with the management of the GIA certificates
Others:- Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities
- Partner with IT to improve the system and the efficiency of the team
Required Skills:- Detail oriented and excellent organisation and follow-up skills
- Proactive and adaptable
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, manage high work load and emphasis on prioritisation and changing deadlines
- Commercially driven
- Team player and diplomatic
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and senior management
- Good MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word and SAP system knowledge a plus
- Passionate about or strong interest for the jewellery industry
