This is a full-time, on-site jobbing jeweller role located in Somerset. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and alteration of all types of jewelry, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a jeweller or bench repair technician
- Proficient in soldering, polishing, setting, and repairs of various jewelry types and metals
- Experience working with hand and powered tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and regulations within the workshop environment
- A passion for fine jewellery and a knowledge of stones and precious metals
