- We have a vacancy for an experienced diamond setter with a prestigious jewellery company based in London.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Diamond Setter, located in London, and involves the setting and placing of diamonds and other precious gemstones into high value pieces of jewellery. The Diamond Setter will work with various precious metals and gemstones to create or repair various types of high jewellery, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. This role requires an on-site presence.
Criteria
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diamond Setter with a strong knowledge of jewellery making and repair techniques
Proficient in the use of traditional and modern jewellery tools and equipment, including soldering torches, hammers, files, and setting tools
Thorough understanding of various types of precious metals and stones
Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Relevant jewellery certifications and qualifications are a plus
