Sales and Valuations Consultant

• Welcoming clients and visitors into the branch in accordance with company policies
• Assessing, valuing and making decisions on potential loan/purchase items
• Incorporate your knowledge of the competitive environment to promote our brand and products and to develop effective local business to business relationships
• Documenting loans, pledges and stock
• Keeping knowledge of valuations techniques and technologies up to date
• Keeping knowledge of product up to date
• Providing excellent standards of client care
• Adhering to company’s policies
• Maintain a security conscious approach at all times
• Providing a luxury retail experience from point of sale through to after sale support
• Driving retail sales through product knowledge & enthusiasm
• Visual merchandising and daily maintenance of stock presentation
• Ensuring our front of house standards are above and beyond our competition 
• Making relevant contact with clients as / when necessary to maintain the professional relationship
•  Keen to take on responsibilities and projects outside of the job role 
• Researching the market, from competitor levels of service to current trends and new products

• Knowledge of gold, gemstones, watches and jewellery 
• Excellent communication / listening skills
• Numerate and literate
• Ability to follow and apply policies, procedures and management requests
• A genuine passion for jewellery, watches or art and antiques
• First class customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
