- Description
- We have a vacancy for a Team Leader (Watchmaker) with a luxury watch house based in Hampshire.
Main Function
Responsible for day-to-day management and development of the Service Team.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of people management including recruitment, training and development and effective management of all people issues.
Use of Lean tools in daily operations (added value for customer, waste, continuous improvement, visual boards and daily short meetings).
Management of the productivity, quality and methodological training of watchmakers/technicians.
Management of service deadlines, repair aging and TAT (cockpit monitoring, SAP reports, etc.).
Management of processes and watch services (allocation/prioritisation of work).
Management of inventory (workshop stock, KanBan, equipment).
Ensure OMEGA guidelines are followed.
Essential
Good technical knowledge of OMEGA watches.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Ability to organise, take decisions and motivate.
Open mindset and ability to adapt to change.
Ability to communicate and work proactively and efficiently.
Knowledge of SAP and MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
