- We have a great role for an administrator with a luxury watch company. This role is Monday to Friday and the company are offering a good salary package for this position.
The purpose of this role is to make sure there is a smooth flow of watches through the system, ensuring that watches are transferred to the correct warehouses on the ERP system for both service centres, subcontractors, and QC. Additionally, the Administrator will ensure that the ERP system is up to date with the location of the watches, track repairs through the locations under their responsibility to achieve the most efficient delivery time and support the Technical Manager with administrative tasks as and when required.
Responsibilities
Ensure that watches are transferred to the correct warehouses on the ERP system for both service centers, subcontractors, and QC.
Monitor QC fails, production lead times, and various trends to identify areas for improvement through reporting.
Ensure that the ERP system is up to date with the location of the watches and that there is a smooth flow of watches through the system.
Support the Technical Manager with monitoring and distribution of spare parts and consumable components and tooling stored within the Service Centre Workshop.
Undertake regular stock checks to ensure accuracy. Define draw layouts, advise replenishment lower level, update procurement of obsolete or upgraded components, and inform procurement of errors in delivered stock.
Track repairs through the locations under their responsibility to achieve the most efficient delivery time. Advise administrative team of any delays or possible issues arising that may influence a promised lead time or repair scope.
Extract data from Priority to support Technical Manager with reporting.
Support Technical Manager with administrative tasks as and when required.
Esnure work is allocated where needed and transferred to QC in a timely manner.
Keep track of work in progress and escalate delays or problems to the Technical Manager.
Work with the Business systems team to ensure that priority is working efficiently for the Service Centre.
Criteria
Highly proficient in excel
Admin experience
Ability to learn and understand technical aspects.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in using ERP systems and databases.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize workload and multitask effectively.
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
