- We have an exciting vacancy for a talented Senior Goldsmith with a luxury jewellers based in Gloucestershire.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Goldsmith with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of creating stunning jewellery. Immediate start.
You will work closely with a Jewellery Manager and Workshop Manager to create fine jewellery for discerning clients, the work is varied and busy, join our small and friendly team.
Key Skills
Mounting and hand making of fine jewellery
Bespoke remodelling
Cleaning of castings
Model making for in house designs
Ring sizing up and down in all metals
Ring sizing for stone-set rings
Re-tipping & re-building claws
Soldering & micro welding, laser welding
Stock replenishment of tools, metals and parts
Maintenance of workshop machines and tools
Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop
Strong organisation and time management skills
Dynamic prioritisation of urgent projects
The ability to train and develop junior members and to pass on skills and experience is a key part of our ethos to ensure our craft endures.
Personal Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience
Experience working in a luxury environment
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to problem solve
Strong willingness to develop new techniques and skills
