An exciting opportunity has arisen for a jewellery designer with experience within luxury jewellery design and manufacture to join a dynamic and expanding team based at a location in Gloucestershire..
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Details:
This is a busy and challenging role in which you will be responsible for the following:
Developing exciting and bespoke designs with clients
Managing the designs and collections from concept through to product development and sample stage
Producing detailed CAD's, Gouache and sketches, working alongside the manufacturers
To build relationships with high end customers; understand their individual needs and customer base
Create accurate and detailed Specs for costing
Hand-make initial designs for buyer’s selection appointments
Assisting the sales team on a day to day basis in-between clients
Working with our workshop team to ensure efficient and high-quality jewellery produced
Ideal Candidate:
You must be an established jewellery designer with 2 + years’ experience in luxury jewellery design, development and manufacture from a retailer or commercial supplier background
You must have a developed and comprehensive understanding of emerging mainstream and commercial trends within the jewellery market
You must be able to understand and translate client’s thoughts into designs that are within the clients brief and able to be created into a high-quality piece of jewellery
Confident with clients and offering exceptional levels of customer service
You will be an excellent team player, confident and able to support your ideas
You must have excellent communication skills and strong organisational skills
You must be willing and able to help promote the store and brand both through all channels including events and networking
