- We have a vacancy for a sales and valuation professional with a luxury jewellery company based in London.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcoming clients and visitors into the branch in accordance with company policies
Assessing, valuing and making decisions on potential loan/purchase items
Incorporate your knowledge of the competitive environment to promote our brand and products and to develop effective local business to business relationships
Documenting loans, pledges and stock
Keeping knowledge of valuations techniques and technologies up to date
Keeping knowledge of product up to date
Providing excellent standards of client care
Adhering to company’s policies
Maintain a security conscious approach at all times
Providing a luxury retail experience from point of sale through to after sale support
Driving retail sales through product knowledge & enthusiasm
Visual merchandising and daily maintenance of stock presentation
Ensuring our front of house standards are above and beyond our competition
Making relevant contact with clients as / when necessary to maintain the professional relationship
Keen to take on responsibilities and projects outside of the job role
Researching the market, from competitor levels of service to current trends and new products
SKILLS
Knowledge of gold, gemstones, watches and jewellery
Excellent communication / listening skills
Numerate and literate
Ability to follow and apply policies, procedures and management requests
A genuine passion for jewellery, watches or art and antiques
First class customer service skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ambassador for the brand
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Computer literate
