- The Role
We are looking for an incredibly talented and energetic Social Media Manager to take full ownership of the global social media strategy for a luxury jewellery company based in the UK.
You will have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Social Media landscape – including content ideation & optimisation, building and engaging communities, social listening & reporting, planning & execution of socially-led campaigns, understanding of the latest technologies impacting key global platforms and deliver results with a drive for testing and learning.
You live and breathe social, with your finger on the pulse of what’s trending and build & engage social communities around those trends. You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practise examples, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things. Always combining strategic thinking with creative flair, the Social Media Manager is a cross-function and crucial role for all our brand marketing activations, from global campaigns to local tactics and conversation drivers.
Responsibilities:
Own the development and optimisation of the global social media strategy
Own the global social media calendar across all platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Linkedin
Work alongside the Content and Creative Teams by providing insights to inform creative and develop content to deliver value and engagement
Work closely with the media & communications teams to align on an integrated approach to paid, owned and earned publishing
Create and present regular reporting to internal teams on community engagement, sentiments and social media metrics – including presenting across paid, owned and earned media
Set and deliver against goals to increase brand awareness and engagement
Maintain a consistent presence and friendly environment across all communication
Bring together the wider marketing, owner experience and PR teams to align on a consistent narrative
Lead the development and direct the implementation of a wide range of content forms, including video, text, still imagery, animation, live action and other content forms that best utilise the technology available on any given social media/digital platform
Experience required
Extensive experience in social media and community management
Previous experience of managing and moderating a sizeable social media community
Creative flair and a passion for social media and content creation
Self motivated with excellent planning and organisation skills, managing calendars and campaign presentations
Strong knowledge of social media metrics and software
Strong copywriting skills and an ability to adapt brand TOV
Proven experience managing social media planning and listening tools
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
