Description
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for ensuring the successful day to day running of the store, managing a team of Sales Consultants, Watch Technicians and Jewellers. The successful candidate will be charged with maximising sales, profitability and enhancing the entire customer experience across all departments. 
 
General 

Proactively manage and support the sales and workshop teams
Increase Profitability and Sales 
Set and manage sales targets and key performance indicators in line with Company Objectives
Work with the Managing Director, Watch Manager and Jewellery Manager to outline and implement purchasing budgets for the year
Supporting with staff training and development, including One to One meetings and HR management
Delivering and demonstrating the highest level of customer service and shopping experience
 
Store

Opening and closing of shop daily
Managing the retail team, store environment and all operational activity linked to the showroom
Oversee the presentation and cleanliness of the windows ensuring all stock is displayed correctly and to the best advantage.
Enforce staff presentation, checking uniform and ensuring Jewellery and watches are handled appropriately and with gloves
Supervise the storing of Jewellery and watches into the safe every night, taking responsibility for the security of the safe as the most senior-level manager present 
Ensure Stock profile is in line with manufacturer guidelines, liaise with the Jewellery and Watch Managers regarding market trends and requirements
Manage transactions across departments to ensure profitability and desirable sales. 
Ensuring all client orders are on track and that clients are regularly updated on progress
Liaise and negotiate with current and potential suppliers 
Work with the Marketing team on all store visuals, displays and windows
Ensure stock profile is maintained, managing regular stock takes
 
Workshop

Managing the workshop teams, ensuring the communication between the teams is effective. 
Keeping abreast of all workshop lead times and ensuring they are reasonable and achieved. 
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with all suppliers
