- We have a vacancy for a stock controller with a well know Jewellery and Watch company based in London.
Job description
Following years of growth and expansion, a new Stock Controller position has been created in the London branch to help processing the stock for the online shop and liaising with customers, traders, auction houses, etc.
Advanced knowledge of diamonds, jewellery and watches (MUST HAVE)
Key Responsibilities
Continuous customer interaction over the phone, email, or chat platforms
Stock processing by:
item verification against the paperwork and logging
item pricing based on secondary market research
item allocation for online store, auction houses, dealers, etc
item preparation for online publishing or shipping
stock inventory
Keeping up to date with market trends/prices for second-hand jewellery, handbags and watches
Working closely with all branches and colleagues to ensure the highest standard of customer service
Reach targets set by the Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Advanced knowledge of diamonds, jewellery, coloured stones and watches (MUST HAVE) · Handbags experience not essential but desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
Customer Service skills
Flexibility to work within a team as well as independently as required
Auction House Experience disirable
