- Main Function
The planning and management of the promotional calendar and all associated advertising, events and display and merchandising activities. The management of the marketing budget. Compiling and providing brand and product information and training materials. Responsibility for all associated administration of the marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and deliver on budget advertising, marketing and promotional calendar in line with the brands core values and strategy.
- Monitor budget and maintain close budget controls.
- Propose and organise promotions and events.
- Communicate and manage the use of POS and training material to ensure all retailers adhere to training and display guidelines as set by brand in Switzerland.
- Ensure the brand POS within the territory meet the brand's POS, sales training and merchandising standards.
- Manage all marketing department administration.
- Work closely with key accounts to maximise joint advertising opportunities and develop promotional POS activities.
- Develop and deliver a training and communication plan and process as well as materials to ensure all relevant internal and external departments receive up to date brand and product info, training and latest advertising and PR information.
- Analyse the competition and market trends and relate relevant facts to the Brand Manager and field based team
- Prepare reports as requested by the Brand Manager and brand HQ.
- To report and provide general assistance to the Brand Manager, including attending meetings with Key Accounts.
- To provide general administrative assistance to the Brand Manager.
Key Skills
- You will need to have experience in Brand marketing preferably within the luxury goods market working at a similar level with budget responsibility
- Ideally candidates will possess marketing/advertising qualifications alongside demonstration of practical experience in completing high level marketing.
- Have experience in a supervisory/managerial role or demonstrate the necessary qualities.
- You should have a flexible approach to work and be willing on occasion to stay away from home and make some international trips.
- Some sales experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Candidates should also possess the desire, ability and willingness to take on new and additional responsibility if the role develops beyond its existing parameters.
