- We have a great vacancy for a Jewellery and Watch sales professional with a successful and established jewellers in the Surrey area.
Duties:-
Visual Merchandising - arrange attractive displays in windows and show cabinets.
Advise customers on products and assist them to choose the most suitable product through delivering excellent customer service
Ensure that stock is clean and well represented
Build relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Gift wrap products in accordance with brand guidelines
Take payment for goods and repairs, and issue receipts
Use computer systems to manage customer accounts , stock, and repairs
To assist with incoming and outgoing post and parcels, and undertake administrative tasks as required
To undertake social media postings (subject to experience)
To undertake minor jewellery repairs including replacing watch batteries/ strap adjustments.
In store cleaning (undertaken by all staff)
Skills and Qualifications:-
A confident and enthusiastic team player with a passion for beautiful jewellery and watches
Ability to do minor repairs/battery replacements, bracelet adjustments
Energy and stamina
Integrity and honesty
Smartly dressed and well presented
Strong verbal skills
Excellent computer skills are essential
Experience of using social media is desirable but not essential
Ideally you will have a jewellery qualification or be prepared to study for it.
