Data Analyst (SQL Experience)

Our client, a luxury, instantly recognisable, jewellery company are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with string SQL experience to join their team based in London’s West End.

The role requires someone with commercial experience who is accustomed to working with complex business data, using SQL, with the ability to turn analysis in to meaningful data and insights for cross functional teams to use.   

The successful applicant will work with the many individual company databases within our clients SAP installation.  These databases are managed through a proprietary system with its own set of SQL tables.

Key purpose and responsibilities:

·       Maintain consistent and accurate data through cleansing, warehousing and reporting. 

·       Deliver accurate and purposeful reporting based in the needs of commercial teams

·       Deliver accurate and timely performance analysis reporting of revenue and sold units by geography and product type into automated reporting

·       Deliver accurate and timely performance analysis reporting 

·       Continuously improve the data integrity, making recommendations for continuous improvement of data 

Requirements:

·       It is imperative that candidates have good experience of working with SQL with ability to write complex SQL queries, work with SQL databases, SQL programming and writing Views

·       Experience in a similar role working with big data, analytics and insights 

·       Experience from a commercial data environment dealing with large amounts of data

·       Experience of working with SAP
