- Description
- A watch polisher is required for a luxury watch company based in Kent.
Role / Job Purpose:-
To polish and refinish and clean all watch cases, bracelets and clasps, using correct tools and techniques, at the right quality, lead time and cost, according to company specification
Key Duties
Carry out polishing, refinishing and cleaning on all cases, bracelets and clasps you have received training on, to company standards of quality, lead time and cost.
Adherence to all relevant policies and procedures
Promote the company values
Any other duties and reasonable requests, as required by the Workshop Manager
Principal Accountabilities
Reading the job card to ensure the customers’ requirements are met
Ensure all relevant paperwork is appropriately filled out before passing the work to the Casing team
Ensure you adhere to appropriate HSE
Ensure all polishing and refinishing is carried out using techniques and tools according to company standards
Production Requirement
Ensure you meet the agreed weekly production levels according to the companies Standard Times of Operation
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:-
Previous polishing experience
Self-motivated and well organised,
Attention to detail
Good levels of concentration
Good eye/hand coordination
Understanding of customer expectations / requirements
Able to manage targets and deadlines
Able to work in a team environment
Pro-active problem solving
Experience in using refinishing equipment including lapping and sandblasting
Basic computer skills
Trained in polishing watches and bracelets
· Proven track record working on quality watches
