- We have a vacancy for a casing technician with a luxury watch company in Kent.
Role / Job Purpose:-
To de-case and re-case all watch cases, bracelets and clasps, using correct tools and techniques, at the right quality, lead time and cost, according to company specification
Key Duties
De-case and re-case all cases, bracelets and clasps you have received training on, to company standards of quality, lead time and cost.
Adherence to all relevant company policies and procedures
Promote the company values
Any other duties and reasonable requests, as required by the Workshop Manager
Principal Accountabilities
Reading the job card to ensure the customers’ requirements are met
Ensure all de-casing and re-casing are carried out using techniques and tools according to company standards
Ensuring that all spare parts used are allocated to the correct job
Ensure any additional required spare parts are ordered according to current policies and procedures
Ensure all relevant paperwork is appropriately filled out, attaching any required testing documentation, before passing the work to the Workshop
Ensure all new seals, pushers, crowns and glasses are fitted as instructed.
Ensuring water resistance of the case.
Ensure you are contributing to their unit’s productivity, whilst adhering to company standards of quality, lead time and cost
Ensure you adhere to appropriate HSE regulations
Ensure you understand and promote the company values
Production Requirement
Ensure you meet the agreed weekly production levels according to the companies Standard Times of Operation
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Basic computer skills
Trained in assembling watch cases and bracelets
