Description
We have an exciting vacancy for a sales professional with a luxury jewellers in Manchester UK. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling high value luxury items with the ability to build and nurture long term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Achieve an agreed personal sales target and contribute to the store’s overall targets.  
  • Offer high levels of customer service to internal and external customers by listening and understanding their needs and proactively providing the right solutions.
  • Liaise with Head Office, other branches and suppliers as required.
  • Contribute to achieving the team goals through co-operation, being flexible, maintaining team spirit and generating ideas to maximise the performance of the team.
  • Represent and promote the company by attending external events when required.
  • Identify future sales opportunities and build appropriate relationships with contacts and customers. 
  • Collect and accurately process data and information about customers, sales and stock levels.
  • Create and maintain a high level of store presentation –displays, cleanliness and personal appearance.
  • Process and safeguard all monies in accordance with Company Procedures and Money Laundering Regulations.
  • Maintain and uphold the company’s procedures towards the security of customers, colleagues and stock.
  • Perform administration tasks as required (e.g. handling post, repairs, emails)
  • Retain and demonstrate up-to-date product knowledge and competitor awareness.
  • Undertake training and seek to improve personal performance. 
  • Fulfil personal Health and Safety responsibilities and towards customers.
  • Ensure confidentiality in relation to customer and company data and information.

  • Previous experience of selling high value luxury items
  • Ability to build long term relationships with customers
  • Ability to go the extra mile for your clients
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for luxury
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Knowledge of jewellery and watches (Desirable)
The company are offering a great basic salary plus commission for this position.
