Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Jewellery Designer to lead the company designs. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, a deep appreciation for jewellery craftsmanship, and the ability to translate concepts into stunning, wearable pieces of jewellery. As a Jewellery Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Directors and Brand Manager to develop innovative designs that align with the brand aesthetic and resonate with the companies target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and develop original jewellery designs from initial sketches to final prototypes, ensuring that each piece reflects the brand's vision and identity.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and maintain relevance in the market.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production, incorporating materials, dimensions, and construction techniques.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the jewellery market.
- Participate in design reviews, presentations, and critiques to gather feedback and refine designs based on aesthetic, functional, and commercial considerations.
- Adhere to project timelines, deadlines, and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
