Jewellery Jobs: An experienced Jewellery Store Manager is required for an excellent, highly successful jewellers.

Experienced Manager required for a FABULOUS  jewellery company!

My client is therefore seeking to recruit a first class manager for their gorgeous jewellery boutique in Cardiff. You must be an excellent all rounder.

The role:

• To run the store as a profitable business, maximising profits at every opportunity and minimising losses wherever possible
• Exceed store targets set
• Constantly motivate sales staff to meet assigned goals
• Ensure company standards and operations are adhered to both in store and on the sales floor
• Identify areas that can be improved upon, both in store and within areas of staff training, and plan accordingly
• Work with your Assistant Manager to ensure a smooth running of the store
• Regular liaison with Area Management
• Marketing the store effectively, encouraging repeat custom
• Acting as a role model, sales focused and customer orientated
• Analyse store performance figures
• Constantly aware of your trading environment and the impact on the store, positive and negative, understand how this affects your store and competitors

Person Specification:

• A love for stylish jewellery is essential
• A minimum of 3 years management experience with at least 1 from a  retail jewellery background (or closely related)
• A first class sales person, leading by example
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Able to merchandise windows and stock effectively and impeccably, having extremely high standards, never compromised
• Immaculately presented, well spoken with a good standard of computer literacy
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Approachable and flexible attitude to work
• Able to meet changing business priorities
• The ability to establish credibility and authority quickly
• Committed to the needs of the customer
