Our client, a prestigious and reputable jewellery company have a rare and exciting opening within their organisation based in East Anglia.

They are currently recruiting for a Director to join their successful and established jewellery retail business and are therefore looking for someone who has a wealth of experience of the jewellery trade. 

Candidates must be experienced in operational and financial management as well as store and staff management in a customer facing retail jewellery environment.  This would be an excellent opportunity for those willing to relocate.
 
The Role:

• Spending time both in the showroom and head office. 
• Ability to sell high worth items, network effectively and maximise the potential of the showroom through various methods.
• Execution of a successful strategy maximising sales and income generation opportunities.
• Growing and improving the retail business.
• Financial and operational performance of the business.
• Ensure staff are target driven, sales orientated and driven; totally focused on customer service.
• Working with third parties and communicating event/networking ideas to promote that company and brands.
• Ensure excellence in all areas of activity to deliver the brand objectives.
• Ensure that P&L and KPI objectives achieved.
• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and clients.
• Develop a strong multi-disciplinary team for the business.
• Increase brand awareness to the regional market.
• Assessment and generation of new revenue streams.

Requirements:

• Maximising sales must be second nature to you.  You will be commercially aware, have excellent customer service skills and be a fantastic sales person leading by example.
• Extensive experience in the jewellery retail trade– at least 2 years current experience in a Senior Management/Director role.
• A fresh and creative approach whilst understanding the needs of the business, market and customers.
• An understanding of how to place most effort on products and services that generate significant income.
• A trade qualification such as FGA, DGA, would be advantageous whilst not essential.
• Affiliation to a trade organisation is desirable.

Experience in the UK jewellery retail sector is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.
